Takumi Fujiwara’s iconic car, the “3-Door Trueno (AE86)” from the manga Initial D in 1/18 scale. This model features 15-inch 8-spoke wheels with a lowered suspension. It faithfully reproduces the fog lamps, single exhaust, the “Fujiwara Tofu Shop” decal on the driver's door, a roll bar, an Italvolante-style steering wheel, and aftermarket gauges for water temperature, oil temperature, and tachometer on the dashboard. Based on 3D scanning data of the real car, the model thoroughly examines and recreates the early version of the “AE86” from the manga. With official supervision from the INITIAL D licensor, every detail from the exterior to the interior has been meticulously reproduced. The product also includes a figure of Takumi’s father, Bunta Fujiwara. Unlike the IMPREZA set IG3538, this figure captures him in a pose gazing at the car with a cigarette in hand. The figure was created by using a model with a physique similar to Bunta’s for 3D scanning, while the face was crafted from scratch based on the expressions in the manga. Each figure is carefully hand-painted by a professional modeler. The package also features an exclusive printed backdrop depicting a scene from the manga.
