Released in 2017, this second generation of the RS5 adopted a new front end in 2020. The 450hp twin-turbo V6 engine has not undergone any evolutions even if the whole thing seems less sporty than it could have. In the Sportback configuration the weight reaches 1720kg. The traction is all-wheel drive and the gearbox is an 8-speed automatic. Acceleration from 0 to 100km/h occurs in 3.9 seconds.
Like the RS4, the RS5 is available with a "Competition Pack" which does not add further power (the standard 450 were deemed sufficient) but allows for a particular look with carbon elements, specific rims, a "sports" exhaust ” and tires specially developed for this version.
